Conference Venue

The conference was held at the USGS Fort Collins Science Center located at 2150 Centre Ave. in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Fort Collins is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains just north of Denver. Home to Colorado State University, it has a variety of recreational opportunities nearby. The city is a vibrant university town with with a large number of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.


A block of rooms has been reserved for September 15, 2014 - September 19, 2014 at the Fort Collins Hilton located at 425 W Prospect Rd, walking distance from the conference venue. Rooms are available to conference participants at the federal per diem rate of $91/night. The special room rate will be available until August 28th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. This rate includes complimentary internet. Once registered for the conference you will receive an email providing the information you need to book one of the reserved rooms at the hotel.

Getting to the Conference

Fort Collins is a one-hour drive from Denver International Airport . A regular airport shuttle service is also available.
